VREMEPLOV / TIME MACHINE is a performative interaction with a video message sent out in 1993 in wartime from the besieged city of Sarajevo. Respectively at each venue, the dialogue of the clip from 1993 is translated simultaneously into the local language of the exhibiting space, performed by a member of the local community.

VREMEPLOV / TIME MACHINE is part of Između nas / Between Us, an open archive initiative at the Library Hamdija Kreševljaković Video Arhiv Sarajevo — a collection of videos shot during the siege of Sarajevo (1992–96). Thieme has a long-term collaboration with the Video Arhiv and the film group Save the Amazon Production based there, and co-founded the initiative with Nihad Kreševljaković, a member of both.
